Newsletter / Mass Mailing Policies

If you currently send out newsletters to 750 or more people we have had to put a filter on the server to send these out in smaller batches. Those using the Newsletter Mod with matching store design have there batches set to go out in smaller batches as to not overload the server.

All newsletter mailings to more than 500 people will have to be sent out in offpeak hours which are 10pm to 5am Central time.

If you have a mailing list of more than 1000 members I strongly recommend using a service like Constant Contact http://www.constantcontact.com

These policies are for the benefit of all our users as to not slow down or crash the server with these mass mailings.

If you can not follow these terms mass mailing on your account will have to be disabled and you will be required to use an offsite mailing list or to upgrade to your own VPS server.
